Join us for our Inaugural Celebration and Gala Event, RAISING VOICES!
We want to celebrate our students and those who have contributed to raising strong voices. We hope you will consider inviting a special person who has made a meaningful difference in the life of your child (teacher, coach, mentor, grandparent) as well. We’ve reserved Golden Tickets for these special guests.
Feel free to get dressed up or come as you are! This festive occasion will include cocktails, heavy hor d’oeuvres, dessert, an auction, music and more. It will be a great time to connect with families and friends! Kids are welcome but festivities will be catered more for adults or older teens. Children 5 and under are free.
Convenient parking is available in an attached ramp. Signs will guide you from the parking lot to the event.

Many thanks to our families and friends that joined us in May for Walk for Talk! You helped us raise approximately $53,000 to support our students with hearing loss as they learn to listen and talk! It would not have been possible without our families, volunteers and sponsors. Our lead sponsors included: Children’s Hospitals & Clinics of MN and Cochlear Americas. Additional sponsors included: Advanced Bionics, Hearing Loss Association of America – Twin Cities Chapter, Kiwanis Club of N. Suburban St. Paul, Oticon Pediatrics, ReSound, Stony Creek Dairy, Young Living AND 6 NV families!

Thank you “To the Max” – you helped Northern Voices raise over $11,000 in one day! This means that more children will learn to listen and talk because of your support. Donations directly benefit the young children in our program through classroom instruction and family scholarship. Our goal was to raise $15,000. If you can consider giving a gift before the end of the year, please do! You’ll help kids “hear the possibilities!”

Tele-therapy at Northern Voices allows families access to a spoken language program that will help your child with hearing loss learn to listen and talk. Coaching strategies are utilized throughout the session to empower parents or caregivers to be their child’s first and best teacher. By using everyday items in the parent’s home, the provider can help the adult see how to incorporate listening, language and speech goals into their daily routines. In addition, helpful information about hearing loss and its impact on language development will also be provided. Contact Erin at 651-639-2535 to learn more about helping your child increase their listening and spoken language skills with online instruction from Northern Voices.

What an amazing show of support for our young superheroes! Thanks to all of you for joining us on a sunny morning to raise awareness and support for Northern Voices and our hard working kids. Together, we raised over $50,000 — which will be matched 1:1 by a family foundation.
A special “thank you” to the families that helped us raise these funds. They directly support our students learning to listen and talk. Also, thank you to our sponsors and volunteers: Advanced Bionics, Elk River Lions Club, MN Academy of Audiology, Cochlear Americas, ESCO, the Townsend family, Hair-O-Smith, MacPhail Center for Music, RoyalTeez Prints, CME Apps, Harris Communications, MED-EL, North Memorial Health Care, Oticon Pediatrics, POPP Communications, the Hokanson family, Ty Buys & ReSound.
While this was our biggest turnout yet – we are still very short of our fundraising goal. If you were not able to join us, or can give another gift, please help give a child a voice. We need everyone to help that can.

Thank you for donating to Northern Voices on Give to the Max Day!
Together, we raised over $9,200 – all of which will be matched by a family foundation. Despite the technical difficulties throughout the day, we still reached 60% of our goal. If you want to help us close the gap, and make your year-end donation, please click here
